The Yorktown Argonauts, often referred to as the Argos, are a major professional football franchise located in Yorktown, Huron, who play in the North Division of the American Football League. The Argonauts are the sixth-winningest AFL team and have won four AFL titles (1966, 1978, 1989 and 1992). The Argonauts play at the Rogers Dome in downtown Yorktown and have a heated rivalry with the Cleveland Browns, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Detroit Lions, as well as an inter-league rivalry with the NFL Buffalo Bills, with whom they play an annual exhibition game called the Niagara War. The Argonauts are owned by Tom Rogers and are coached by LeRoy Ericksson.
