Yatolwi (Permian Extinction: Civilization)

Yatolwi is an island nation with its own long-standing civilization and its own national religion, a fertile polytheism with numerous local gods and goddesses and an ethical code to support it. (This is separate from the religions dominating the Land of the Temples and Xathbar). This land has a sunny, slightly dry climate in many parts; as it is in a warm part of the earth, it is also a popular vacation spot for international travelers and a center of the movie industry (think California). Periodic droughts and water shortages became more common in Yatolwi in later years, including just before the Traps Eruptions and well into the ecological crisis.
