Yale is a city-state on the coast of former Connecticut. This city-state was originally an enclave run by the staff of former Yale University. As the city of New Haven's population declined, the power of Yale increased, until they completely took over the city.
History[]
The Mushroom Clouds from Boston and New York could be seen from New Haven, and immediately the City was thrown into chaos. Rioting, fire and looting resulted in the death of thousands, and in response, Peter Salovey, the president of Yale, sealed off the University, declaring a state of emergency within it's walls. Students were to remain inside, gates were to be locked, guards were posted, and the Staff met in Connecticut Hall. Much of the staff agreed that New Haven was on the decline, and that Yale should not associate itself with the City.
