Wu is the largest nation in East Asia after Russia and a rising power. It is only established after the apocalypse and thus, has less of a heritage. However, as a successor of Communist China, Wu has China's rich culture and heritage. China was a historical power and its first unified dynasty was in 221 BC, when Qin dynasty conquered all the warring states. However, in the recent Qing Dynasty, large amounts of land was lost to foreign countries. The Opium war and the First Sino-Japanese war is just two of these various shameful wars. In 1911, the first republic, the Republic of China was established. In 1937, the second Sino-Japanese war started and left China in ruins. The CCP again became victor of the Chinese civil War, which led to the establishment of the People's Republic of China. However, after PRC's collapse in the apocalypse, Wu became its successor state.
Wu is once a province of the People's Republic of China, named Zhejiang. After the Apocalypse, Wu is one of the
most destructed areas. However, as the survivors grow in number, they established the State of Wu in 1974. The state of Wu, controlling the Fertile Regions of the Yangtze River Delta, grew in size and wealth very quickly.
In 1981, Wu, after nearly a decade of rebuilding showed itself as a prospering nation. In the same year, the Army of the Republic of Wu is established with their base in Nanking. Moreover, relationships are made with Japan and the United States.
In 1983, after a disagreements to peacefully merge with Wu, Yue was invaded by Wu.
