World War III (These Fractured States of North America)

The Third World War was a major military conflict between the ETA (Eurasian Trading Alliance), consisting of Russia, Britain, France, Germany and Austria-Hungary, against the Axis, consisting of the United States, Japan, Mexico, Deseret and the Ottoman Empire. The war was fought between 1961 and 1963, and ended in a bloody stalemate with neither side able to win victory. However, the Ottoman Empire was totally destroyed by Russian nuclear weapons only a decade and a half later, in the Fifth Russo-Turkish War.
