World War III was a result of tensions that arrived due to the Cold War, directly caused by the Bangladesh War of Independence in 1971. As Bangladesh fought with Pakistan, India declared war with Pakistan. Then conflict in Kashmir between India and Pakistan drew China into the war, and soon the United States and its NATO allies joined on the side of Bangladesh. When the United states declared war on Pakistan, the China declared war on the United States, and the USSR declared war on India. At this point, war broke out in Germany between the Soviet Union and the USA and UK. Fighting also broke out in Korea between North Korea, Russia, and China for one side and South Korea, Japan, Philippines, and the United States on the other side.
