Whig Party (A Victorious South)

The Whigs have became a more middle ground between the old south party, the Confederation Party, and the Democratic Party; who under Robert E. Lee are trying to push for a more industrial and centralized "New South". The Whigs have become a more reform oriented party and has attracted the attention as the Vance/Anderson would pick up Vance's homestate of North Carolina and Tennessee. One major supporter is former general P. G. T. Beauregard who is said to be a possible presidential candidate.
