The Vikings, also known as the Norse, were a great Germanic people. The Vikings are thought to have begun in Jutland and rapidly expanded into and settled both Russia and Yangjiang. Their language was spread into Albion and Eriksland and, to this day, Albic and Erikslandic are mutually intelligible. Viking raids are known to have occurred all the way south to Byzantine Makush. The Vikings are seen to have ended as a society in the sixth century AH with the founding of Jutland as a nation. However, descendants of the Vikings spread from Vinland to Eriksland and Albion established one of the largest empires to have ever existed in recorded history, the Albic Empire. As a result, the legacy of the Vikings is widespread, with quite a bit of international business done in Albic.
