Venezuela, like Costa Rica and Colombia, came under United Republics administration through the Treaty of Cordoba 1996 and surrender of Gran Colombia, concluding the War for Amazonia. Coastal Venezuela was among one of the first regions invaded in the war. Venezuela's reconstruction was slowed by the Floridian government's release of Zombies, or Z-heads, into the Republic of Texas. Troops focused on leading rebuilding and constructing coastal defenses, immediately were called to the Miami area and the Oil Rig that Florida's main Zombie research were on, to find the government moved and the complex abandoned. Fearing the worse the Venezuelan guard invaded Miami. Venezuela was put back on track in the rebuilding and reform process shortly after. Venezuela's natural resources are of key significance, specifically their oil. Venezuela currently maintains additional claims to a portion of the nation Guyana, believing part of their land is currently being administered by Guyana. There are hopes underway to resolve this diplomatically. Venezuela's economy is the energy and natural gas, providing the United Republics Gran Colombian territories with energy as solar panels are installed to assist in compliance with the United Republics BrighterFuture Act.
