NOTE: I follow a different procedure where i set the question, someone else sets the POD to answer that question (To prevent me screwing it up and end up with alt histories like "George Bush Screws up") and then the normal alt history writing and discussion follows after.
Poltical Althistories
I have always wondered, what could happen if Japan joined WW2 on the side of the Allies, instead of the Axis. This alt histroy should explore what would could the change of allegence, what happens during WW2 as a result, what happens after WW2 and what would Japan look like (e.g forigen relations, Emperor divinity).
To be started
Pearl Harbour averted (The US discovers the attempt to attack Pearl harbour)
9/11 averted (George Bush and Tony Blair comes to their senses and averts 9/11)
The people have had enough (The US and the UK plunge into civil war as the people are in open revolt over the dracion policies and incompatnce of Bush and Blair)

Don't mess with things you don't understand
With the continuing poor distibuation of Cardcaptors, the English dub of Cardcaptor Sakura due to Warner and Disney, we wait for admitance. But what if the whistle was blown early. This althistory can start between 2001-2002 (Where CC started airing in the UK with 65 episodes) and it should involve the scandal beening uncovered (Use your imagination in terms of who and what blows the whistle), and what happens to the parties involoved (Warner and Disney as well as the presumed victims, CLAMP,Madhouse, Kodansha and Nelvana), plus what happens to the whole anime industry (There may be further investagions into poor distibuation and there could be effects on trading between Japan and the USA.)
