The Main POD is that Franklin D. Roosevelt dies of Scarlet Fever as a child. The Great Depression, in full swing by 1930, has no one Democrat or Republican to step up. With the help of Soviet Russia, Eugene V. Debs begins a proletariate revolution and every Hooverville becomes a Communist stronghold.
