Constituent Lands of the United Kingdom[]

Politics of the United Kingdom[]

The constituent lands of the United Kingdom each have their own parliament to determine land-specific issues that do not affect the other constituents of the Kingdom. The UK Parliament is located in London, while the Parliament of England meets in York. Each Parliament (Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, Malta, and Gibraltar) legislates solely for that land on matters pertaining only to that land, while the Parliament of the United Kingdom in London legislates for matters binding to all lands, often on defense, foreign policy, and internal improvements.

Dominions[]

British Dominions are a group of politically independent nations which are historically part of the British Empire, and today maintain monetary union with England (except Australia), and maintain a common defense pact. They all recognize the Queen Victoria V as their sovereign, while day-to-day governing is done within their parliaments.
