Imperial States of America

Imperial States Flag

The United States of America, later the Imperial States of America was a nation located in North America that became the most powerful empire in human history. Founded by a few British colonists in the 17th century, the nation declared its' independence from Britain in 1776 as the world's first democracy. Spreading to the Pacific in a great wave of expansion, the U.S overcame its civil war as a major industrial power. After its victory in the Spanish-American war, it began a new wave of expansion, taking over Central America in World War I and other territories. After World War II and III, it re-emerged as the Imperial States of America, the last western power standing, and the most powerful empire the world had ever seen. But the empire was too large to control, and the empire declined through the 1970's and 80's, and a series of crisis lead to its total collapse in 2003 into the hands of varying rebels and warlords.

At its' height, the Imperial States of America stretched over four continents, the middle east, and even the Moon, with a total of over 300 million sq mi on Earth, excluding the claimed territories in outer space. It included all of North and South America, most of Europe(excluding European Russia and Portugal), North and Central Africa, the Pacific, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia. This does not include its informal trade empire through companies such as Standard Oil, having great influence in nations such as Portugal, Nigeria, Australia, South Africa, Siberia and China. This was far greater then the British Empire that preceded it. Despite the fact that there are various claimants to President of the I.S.A, America continues to wield influence not seen since the days of Ancient Rome.
