The Union of Socialist Republics of Slavland, the Slavic Union, or simply, Slavland, is a grouping of socialist states existing in eastern Europe and north central Asia. The Slavic Union used to be one of the super powers, immediately following World War 2. However, since the 1984 economic depression, the Union could never return to its former state, and wars with the Teutonic Confederacy and the Nivkhgu Empire further diminished it's power. The Slavic Union was once considered a socialist utopia, but the economic crises and wars plaguing the country has led to the tightening of the regime's grip. Now it is akin to the Soviet Union under Stalin in OTL. The military is outdated, using technology from the 80s and 90s, and it is quantity based. They have a large army, but they have an outdated one. They don't go on military ventures anymore, and use their army for the sole purpose of defense.

The Slavic Union was established after the fall of the Russian Empire in World War 1, and has been an entity ever since.
