After the execution of Anne Boleyn, Henry VIII marries Jane Seymour. When she gives birth to the future Edward VI, she does not die. Henry VIII and Charles V work out an agreement to invade France and its possessions. After several years of war, France falls and Francis I is executed by the English and Henry VIII crowned as King of France. Jane produces several more sons and daughters and remains in the King's favor until she finally dies shortly after giving birth to her last son. Henry VIII never remarries after her death and dies himself in 1542, at age 50.
