Tony Miller (born 1968) is an English politician who served as Prime Minister of England from 2008 until 2016 as well as Leader of the Social Democratic Party of England from 2006 until 2014 and Member of Parliament for Sheffield Central. Miller became the youngest Prime Minister in English history when he entered office in 2008 at the age of 40.
Miller studied politics at Cambridge University, graduating with a first. He joined the SDP in 1991, and served as a special adviser to shadow Health Secretary Martin Prodger. In 2002 he was elected MP for Sheffield Central. He entered the shadow cabinet in 2005 as shadow Transport Secretary, and later as shadow Environment Secretary and shadow Defence Secretary.
