Tony Abbott is an Australian politician who served as Prime Minister of Australia from 2011 to 2014.


Abbott served as press secretary to Treasurer John Hewson, before resigning to contest the 1994 Warringah by-election.

He served as Minister of Workplace relations from 1999 to 2002.

His government was defeated at the 2014 federal election.
