Decmber 4th- Napoleon Bonaparte has himself crowned Emperor of the French and King of Italy.
April 1st- France seizes the Netherlands, Napoleon is declared King of the Dutch, Count of Flanders and Grand-duke of Luxemborg, ending the Batavian Republic.
August 24th- The Grand Army marches into Spain.
December 1st- Madrid falls to the Grand Army under Emperor Napoleon.
January 3rd- Spanish forces are defeated at the Battle of Granada, King Carlos IV abdicates his throne later that day to Napoleon.
January 7th- Napoleon is crowned King of Spain.
February 14th- The Grand Army invades Portugal.
February 17th- On hearing of the invasion of Portugal Britain declares war on France, saying that they will defend there allies.
March 30th- French forces under Emperor Napoleon and General Berthier lay siege to Lisbon.
May 27th- Lisbon finally falls despite attempted reinforcements by the British, Queen Maria of Portugal abdicates for Napoleon.
May 29th- Napoleon is crowned King of Portugal in Lisbon.
July 10th- The last of the British forces in Portugal are forced to withdraw.
July 16th- Napoleon starts to blokade Britain.
December 4th- France invades Austria.
December 25th- On Christmas day Napoleon leads his forces to victory at the Battle of Salzburg.
March 6th- General Elbe and Emperor Napoleon lay siege to the city of Kapfenbug.
April 20th- A late Battle of Austerlitz is fought (also known as the Battle of Austerlitz in this timeline), it turns out to be a massive French victory.
June 18th- Emperor Francis of Austria is assassinated by a French spy, he is succeeded by his 14 year old son, Emperor Ferdinand I.
July 1st- Tired of the naval blockade, Britain sues for peace, France warns the British that if they interfere again they will "Invade there sad little island" as Napoleon puts it.
July 14th- The Grand Army lays siege to Vienna.
October 14th- After an three month siege, French forces march into Vienna, Emperor Ferdinand is captured.
October 15th- A emergency Government is set up in Budapest after the fall of Vienna, Regent Ferdinand, uncle of Emperor Ferdinand, demands fighting continue and to recover the Emperor from French hands.
November 7th- Battle of Györ takes place, it is one of the worst Austrian military defeats ever recorded.
November 30th- With most professional troops either dead or abandoning there positions, Regent Ferdinand demands that civilians must be recruited to fill the ranks.
December 24th- On Christmas Eve Napoleon leads his army during the Battle of Tököl, it is another utter defeat for the Austrians, Regent Ferdinand begins his evacuation from Budapest.
January 1st- The Grand Army enters Budapest, most civilian militia drop there guns and run when they see the French soldiers.
January 5th- Realising that Austria is defeated, Regent Ferdinand surrenders his country. Emperor Ferdinand officially abdicates later that day in Vienna.
January 10th- Napoleon is crowned Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary in Vienna.
