- April 7, 1862: The Confederacy wins the Battle of Shiloh, destroying the Union forces. General Ulysses S. Grant is captured by Confederate forces.
- July 4, 1863: Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg is successful, destroying the Union's forces and Gettysburg being captured.
- November 14, 1863: At the Seige of Washington, the Union surrenders. The capital is burned down, and the CSA if officially recognized. The US government reorganizes itself in Philadelphia.
- March 30, 1867: After the financially drained United States is unable to buy it, Great Britain purchases Alaska from Russia, incorporating it as a province of Canada.
