Previous: Victoria goes boom!
Edward VII decides that Russia had a role in assassinating Queen Victoria. So he decides to hire an assassin to kill Alexander II. After a speech in Moscow, Alexander II walks down to the crowd and waves until someone in the crowd jumps from the barricade, pulls out a gun, and shoots Alexander in his chest. Russian officials are completely confused and angry, but before they could figure out a plan of attack British forces ambush Russian troops in Saint Petersburg, Ufa, Saratov, and Moscow shortly after the assassination of Alexander II.
With Russia gone, the Union is in trouble. Unless they can make it seem like the Confederates had a part in the conspiracy to murder Queen Victoria or they're doomed.
So can they pull it of?
- Yes! The British fall for it!
- Half of parliament believes it but the other half have doubts.
- No! They see straight through it!
