Blockbuster Online is an online (Internet-based) media streaming service headquartered in the United States and available in North and South America, parts of Europe, eastern Asia (namely Korea and Japan), Kerguelen, Australia, and New Zealand. Created by home media/video game rental company Blockbuster Entertainment in 1990, Blockbuster Online is available via subscription ($3.00 per-month USD) and can be accessed on any number of Internet-capable devices, such as home PCs, tablets/Flexis, and video game consoles (e.g. Sony's PlayStation, released in 1994).
