[edit] Texas and New Mexican Front
Following President Thomas Overton Moore's declaration of war on the Yankees a large invasion of New Mexico was done attempting to draw Yankees away from Washington. This strategy worked well enough and by the time Yankee troops arrived in New Mexico Confederates were already quite a ways into the state. After 4 years of brutal fighting the CSA was forced back into Texas and by the time the war ended Texas was partially controlled by both.
[edit] Invasion of North Kentucky
As New Mexico was reconquered by the Yankees The CSA began an invasion of North Kentucky. Drawing troops away from New Mexico, Arizona and California this plan had the effect of helping the CSA hold New Mexico for a couple extra months, and enabling Mexico to invade California.
[edit] Mexican Invasion of California
California was a large former Mexican region that Mexicans still wanted. With so many Yankee troops on the other side of North America Mexico once more saw a chance to invade California. Soon after Utah rebelled again and Quebec invaded so the USA agreed to end the war. Yet more of California was added to Mexico and Texas was made a new nation.
[edit] Yankee Invasion of Sequoyah
As Mexico invaded California Yankees invaded Sequoyah. Few CSA troops could be brought at such short notice and part of western Sequoyah was in Yankee hands when the war ended.
