The Capes, officially the Union of the Capes of Naturaliste and Leeuwin, is the southernmost state of Cygnia. It borders Peel to the north and Auralia to the east, with the Indian and Southern Oceans to the west and south respectively. The Capes' state capital is Augusta; other major urban centres include its largest city, Bunbury, as well as Alexandria, Busselton and Cape Leeuwin. In March 2014, the estimated population of the Capes was 26.6 million, making it the 8th most populous state in Cygnia. Inhabitants of the Capes are referred to as Capers.
