Thailand is a country in Asia and a Great Power.

During the Ayutthaya Kingdom, around late 1600s, Japan helped them conquer parts of OTL Indonesia and OTL Malaysia and OTL Cambodia. Later in 1810, Thailand began colonising OTL Australia, along with Japan, Korea, and China. Then, afterward, in 1767, the Ayutthaya Kingdom was renamed to Kingdom of Thailand, and was still absolute monarchy up until 1920, in which monarchy had ended, and Thailand became a Republic. Thailand went on to fight in the Second World War and became a Great Power afterward. From 1990 until 1995 Thailand went through an economic crisis due to internal problems but was resolved when Abhisit Vejjajiva took office in 1995. By 2004 Thailand's economy became sharp again and Abhisit Vejjajiva decided to retire. Then a new election was held and Abhisit Vejjajiva's wife, Pimpen Sakuntabhai, succeeded him as Prime Minister.
