No particular reason. I created West Australia as an eventual militaristic and antagonist state to Australia, Indonesia, and most nations in general, also hence why Java is a part of WA. Airwolf fanatic94 00:08, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

Why the different coloured union jack when WA is a republic? Wouldn't a flag with Western Australian characteristics (eg. a black swan on a yellow background) make more sense?
