Why did the USA suddenly go fascist? Buk5 20:27, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- Technicaly, they're not fascist, they are far-right and ultra-conservative but their regime is quite different from say, Italy. AS to how they ended up in power, it was largely on a platform of non-interventionism and protectionism against what they perceived as a leftist europe. --Marcpasquin 14:56, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- Here's a few ideas for FL Marcpasquin:
1. What happens to Mao Tse Tung, Ho Chi Minh and the other communists?
2. Would the USA be forced into a war with Japan like OTL, with the Philippine possessions and Hawaii?
3. Maybe a map could be in order for this world, especially the former russian empire
4. What happens to African colonies?
5. What does the middle East look like? Buk5 15:12, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- 1- not sure, there was no communist takeover in russia so they might not have the same inspiration.
- 2- maybe not, japan attacked to prevent intervention in south-east asia which the USA of that timeline wouldn't do (being isolationist)
- 3- when I have time
- 4- some where involved as battleground in the Mediterean War
- 5- A lot like *here* before the Second World War
