My 2 cents[]

In the OTL, before the referendum, they had a planned flag of the United Kingdom if Scotland left which was the English flag and the cross and no green. Just my opinion that there wouldn't be any green on there because there has never been a Welsh part on the British flag before. Also, the Isle of Man is independent as a crown dependency so it's not officially part of the UK in the OTL. My 2 cents!

thanks,

Thanks, but asked at Bryce3Col. James Hsu (talk) 17:44, January 8, 2016 (UTC)

Hi - i agree, but without the blue OR green, it looks very plain and almost like the surrneder flag, so i decided to have this as a co-flag withh the normal jackBryce3 (talk) 23:59, February 26, 2016 (UTC)

Flag[]

Even with the breakup of Scotland, does the iconic Union Jack remain hoisted even with the new flag? Gillan1220 (talk) 04:52, April 14, 2016 (UTC)

Certainly. If you have a look at the page Union Flag , it's up to the descretition of the building where its flown, but the military still use the old union flag, and many civilians do. It was stated by some that many thousands died under the old flag and it would be disrespectful. I'm not sure yet, but if a 'BlUKIP' Coalition is voted in next, they may well return to the old flag.Bryce3 (talk) 07:33, April 14, 2016 (UTC)

I was told by someone that we would have switched in Cornwall? So the background goes Black, not Green/White? I could be misinformed, though Local Mafia Boss (Talk) (Blog)

Tbh I don't hink anyone knew - the nearest to anything "official" was the leak of simply a union flag without the blue. I choose to include Welsh green as Wales is a constituent nation, whilst Cornwall is simply a county. However, we'll see what developments happen in the future Bryce III - ☕ Tea?Wintonia 18:08, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

Brexit[]

Would Brexit still happen in this ATL with David Cameroon not being the prime-minister after the Scottish Referendum?

Awesome history 28 (talk) 19:52, December 26, 2016 (UTC)

No - we have a Lab-Lib coalition in ATL, meaning Referendum Legislation is never passed. It is possible we'll see a Tory Government (possibly with UKIP in coalition) in SSY, so they may again promise it, but we'll see. Bryce III - ☕ Tea?Wintonia 16:08, December 27, 2016 (UTC)
