Though I have other issues with this TL, this line bothered me the most: "Al Gore forces a military take over and declares himself president of the world. Really this just means President of the U.S."
This doesn't make sense. In 1999 he is the Vice President of the US. After Clinton died he would be President of the US according to the Constitution. There would be no reason for him to use the military to "take over" (which considering that the military is predominantly conservative they wouldn't back him anyway if he tried). Also the "president of the world" seems a very bizarre, even for Gore. Mitro 16:28, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
