Oh no that's just me picking and choosing which Spanish words to incorporate; I really should stop :/
Estrella means "star" in Spanish. I believe the temporary government of the Republic of Spain had a red star with a gold outline. Of course I've only seen that flag a few times, I could be wrong. Is this the flag that Spanish Communists use here? Mr.Xeight 18:39, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- The flag of the spanish republic did not carry a star, it had the arms centered on it (like those of the modern spanish kingdom but with a mural crown instead of a royal one). You might be thinking of yugoslavia--Marcpasquin 18:43, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

- I got the idea of the hammer and sickle from this propaganda poster. I've not got much else to say because Marcpasquin has pretty much explained it.
