Talk:Presidents of the United States since 1969 (Celebrity World)
From Alternative History
Arnold Schwarzenneg is not American born, so he can't be the prez. Might I sugest George Clooney. Also Sony Bono could be a VP in there somewhere before his tragic ski acident.
- Nothing is written about Celebrity World's Point of Divergence from our Timeline, but maybe it's totally consistent in that world for non-American born celebrities to be elected in America. After all, I'm pretty sure Robbie Williams is British! ;-) It seems the U.S. in that Timeline amended the Constitution. Nhprman 03:00, 17 Jan 2006 (UTC)
I've removed the Robbie Williams reference, but left Ah-nolt in place. I'm fine for Ah-nolt to be President with that constitutional amendment, but I don't think Williams, even if he was a U.S. citizen (and I can't imagine he would be), would be VP. For a start, he's under 35. Cprhodesact 10:13, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
I've reverted it back to Rob Reiner as President and we'll assume he won re-election. I like the idea of Ah-nolt but it's kinda been done to death. And as for Orlando Bloom, what the hell? Some people, I tell you... Cprhodesact 07:30, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- How about George Clooney for 2009, then? That is assuming Jerry Springer doesn't want to give it a try, because I'm pretty sure Georgie is a Democrat.
- I can picture the campaign posters already... --dllu 22:58, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- The next president should be a woman perhaps possibly Geena Davis or Mary Mcdonnell, or an African American such as James Earl Jones, Dennis Haysbert or Morgan Freeman.
[edit] Yankovic 2008, Petty 2008, Mclean 2008
How about Wierld Al Yankovic Runs for president for the Democratic Party, Richard Petty for the Republican Party, and Don Mclean for an Independent
