Talk: New Sweden (Cabotia and Brasil)

There was some territorial dispute between New Netherland and New Sweden, which is why New Sweden was eventually absorbed by the New Netherlands Colony. Could this issue have been resolved by Sweden referencing discovery of the New World with the Vikings, and thus pre-date the claim made by the New Netherlanders?
