UN[]

Isn't Venezuela a member of the UN? Buk5 14:39, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

It is still in work. Colombia is also supposed to be a member, along with Cuba.
And other Latin American countries (Mexico, Nicaragua etc.)? Buk5 17:57, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

France[]

I think that Germany would not be fool enough to leave France on its western border as a American ally. Anyway, how could France shake off the Vichy government? Germany would keep it in place, to safeguard its western borders. England could be free, but France would not get the chance. Das Taub 01:35, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Point taken. Will be evaluated. However, take also into account that Hitler had no ambition with neither France nor the UK - he had only ambitions eastwards, into Poland and the Soviet Union (Lebemsraum). I don't think they would become German allies, but definitively neutral. - Realismadder 06:42, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Even so, Hitler would not be fool enough to leave his western border unsecured. he would also be fool to leave a vengeful France or Belgium alone. he might create a form of German headed 'European Union' to keep all the nations of Europe firmly under Germany's control, and keep them out of the arms of the Americans. Das Taub 08:58, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
The Anti-Comintern Pact covers much of this, and only exceptions are Switzerland (which is surrounded by Nazi Germany, Italy and France, who has agreed to have German bases on their territory), Sweden (whose king during WW2, Gustaf V, was pro-German), Norway (Hitler admired the Nordic race (Norwegians, Swedes, Danes, Icelandic) would probably be abandoned by the Germans with a few navy bases, as Hitler and the Norwegian people despised Quisling (afterall, you can support a treason (Hitler towards Quisling's treason of Norway), but nobody likes a traitor), and France, who is forced into a position similar to Germany following the Treaty of Versailles. - Realismadder 09:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Russia[]

what happened to the parts of Russia not occupied by Japan or Germany? did they become a rump Axis state led by someone like Vlassov, or are they still under communist control? --Das Taub 20:49, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

They remained a Communist state, albeit with limited powers, only allied with Tannu Tuva and Mongolia. - Realismadder 21:02, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
I know this question came over a year and a half ago, but why continue the charade with Tannu Tuva and Mongolia? Wouldn't hey simply try and absorb them into what was left of the country? And perhaps this was already answered, but how would the Nazi party actually make the Central Asian countries leave the Soviet Union? It doesn't make any sense IMO. And why continue to call themselves the Soviet Union if they only control Siberia and the Russian Far East? Wouldn't they revert to the RSFSR name?--Vladivostok 11:40, August 22, 2010 (UTC)
