- Furthering your question, I wonder if the Japanese wouldn't have established a string of outposts along the chain of volcanoes that Hawai'i is a part of - making it a stepping stone string to the Americas rather than the frigid northern route. Louisiannan 22:10, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
