Outside of languages, what sort of differences would there be between that timeline and OTL? - Nik 05:47, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

My we've been productive on my timeline! Sign up, introduce yourself to us so I know who I'm working with on this one! And as far as I know, the world is more warlike, and the Romance languages are not as strong. Louisiannan

Actually, it's just me, Theophilus.
I thought the Arianism angle might unite the German West and alienate/insulate them from Byzantine influence. Arianism always seemed to me more suited to traditional German tribes anyway.

Maybe it's just me, but what's the point of having an althist-wiki, if projects aren't supposed to be collective? Don't get me wrong, I would find it annoying too if people changed my work - which is why I don't post projects here, but stick to commenting on flaws in others'. ;o)

But anyway, a question: You have a "normannic" language in Normandy and southern Italy, which would imply that the Vikings do exist *here*. But where's the Norse language (or something similar) then? --dllu 13:52, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Aethelred's Choice[]

Would Aethelred, already master of England below the Humber, accept military aid from the Visigothic Emperor, knowing that he would be second banana but gain more territory? This is very important for the Pelagian and Frankish reactions?Theophilus54 01:30, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
