The testament has disappeared too."; does the first sentence refer to the secretary being lost without a trace? Some of my thoughts: Hitler probably wouldn't be able to appear in public by 1947. In real time he was already showing Parkinson symptoms in 1945. Also I tried to keep Hitler alive until there was an armistice and a cold war, reason being I wanted him to make a law forbidding smoking in public places (!) Hitler played off his subordinates against each other rather skillfully. If he were dead or incapacitated I think they would consolidate into two power blocks, one block wanting to rule the whole earth, the other one wanting to consolidate. Somewhat like the Soviet Union. Some of the weaker nazis might be killed as a warning, Goebbels for instance, and maybe Raeder. Goering and Doenitz would be too powerful to kill. Himmler would be guaranteed to do something stupid. I suggest (1) Get an armistice. (2) Goering should make himself fuehrer (as he did), take control of Hitler's inner circle and bodyguard (3) Himmler should oppose him. (4) the weaker nazis take sides and some get killed. Goering could use his own elite division to take control.
