I would like to point out that I tried to be as close to Superian history as I could. The reason I chose 1994 was becuase they mention in the History page that the Democrats had a majority in Congress that year. I also took into consideration that the Upper Peninsula is very much a Republican-leaning area, so I made the majorities small but still enough to allow President O'Hara and Congress allow Mackinaw to become a state. If you are going to criticize me and this article, that is fine, but I would just like to point out that i personally feel that Superior is by far the best and most complete and detailed work in the whole 1983: Doomsday timeline, and I just very hard in order to make these articles I write are as close to the history of the Republic of Superior as possible and as close to reality as possible.
