1851 Taiping forces rapidly advance throughout China and march rapidly on Beijing instead of pausing as in OTL.
1853 After a long siege Beijing falls to Taiping forces ending the Manchu regime. The new Taiping goverment mixes primitive socialism, with Puritan protestant, and a communal democracy similar to that of ancient Athens
1854 Taiping forces gain control of border regions in Manchuria, Tibet and Mongolia. Korea and Indochina Great Britian and the united States recognize the new regime supporting protestantism and democracy. The Nanking government welcomes trade with the west and is not bound by the traditions of the past. In order to show friendship with the new government the British agree to end some of the unfair trade practices. This angers conservative buisnesses but is supported by both liberals and missionary protestants.
1855 Construction begins on the first railroad between Beijing and the Pacific ocean. The first primitive industries begin to sprout up in China.

1856 Chinese forces fight in the Crimean War, mostly along the Amur River. However, some troops armed with Western weapons and shipped by British ships fight in the Crimea. British officers are sent to help modernize the Chinese army. Chinese soldiers are loaned to the British to help maintain order in India.
1856-1870 China continues to grow industrially and begins to build more railways. Major reforms in the lives of chinese are made. A Roman alpabet is introduced and a new education system begun.
1884 Chinese forces invade Japan over port rights. After bitter resitance Japan agrees to open its ports to chinese trade.
1885 Russia demands that the Chinese give up land gained in Japan. The Chinese agree but begin to prepare to rectify the injustice.
1892 Determined to gain their place in the Sun, Chinese force invade and occupy Ethiopia.
1894 The new Chinese army trained by Prussian officers and the new Chinese navy trained by the British crush Russian forces. Russia agrees to recognize Chinese domination in Japan, Korea, and Mongolia. The border in Siberia is readjusted in China's favor.
1898 Following the sinking of a Chinese battleship in Manilla, China occupies the Phillipines.

1905 France declares war on china after China occupies Morroco. Russia joins in declaring war on China. Great Britian declares war on France and Russia while Germany remains neutral.
1906 Chinese forces invade Algeria. Germany declares war on France. Italy declares war on Frnace
1907 Russia and France overwhelmed on all sides agrees to surrender. China gains control over most of French West Africa although some parts are split betwen Britian and Germany.
1908 Marxists seize control of Russia. Chian takes advantage of the disorder to seize much of Siberia.
1911 Chinese industrial output above Great Britian
1912 United States, Soviet Union and Germany sign triple alliance against rising Chinese power.
1914 Chinese industry above Germany.
1915 Woodrow Wilson warns China to respect american dominance in Western Hemisphere.
1920 Chinese indutrial ouput above United states.
1931 Chinese forces aid independence movement in India. Using a combine armor and airforce Chinese forces advance rapidly across India. USA, Ger an USSR declare war
1932 Chinese forces overun Siberia, threaten European Russia. Mao Zedong of Arabia leads Arab forces in conquest of Ottoman empire.
1933 Chinese forces invade Europe from the Middle East and Siberia. Chinese navy triumphs in the battle of Tasmania, invasion of Australia begins.
1934 Chinese forces storm Europe only Great Britian remains.
1935 Chinese scientist develop nuclear atomic bomb. The destruction of Leeds forces Britian to surrender.
1936 United states agrees to surrender Alaska and Hawaii
1937-1959 General Mao Zedong is elected First Citizen of the Tsiping Republic and serves the longest term in Taipings history before stepping down in 1959 to return to his farm in Hunan. He is called the Taiping Cincinnatus

1974 Islamic terrorists supported by the Khomeni regime in Persia, coordinate a massive bombing in The Gate of Heavenly Peace, Beijing during New Year celebrations. China invades Persia start of War on Terror.
