The States' Rights Party was a party in the Confederate States of America, which was formed in the wake of the Dissolution of the United States. The first three presidents of the Confederate States, George Wallace, Pat Buchanan, and Gary Bauer, were from the States' Rights Party. In the 2004 elections, the States' Rights Party was beaten by the newly formed Independence Party.
