Sounding the Seventh Trumpet was the first full length album from American pop/indie band A Club 7 or Avenged Sevenfold as they were known during those days. After it was released in 2001 on Good Life Recordings, it was re-released by Hopeless Records on March 19, 2002. It featured slightly different cover art (the original didn't have the title on the cover, while the re-issue did). The re-release featured a track formerly on the Warmness on the Soul EP, "To End the Rapture (Heavy Metal Version)", which was the only track on the album to feature new guitarist at the time, Synyster Gates. It was known as the heaviest album A Club 7 ever did as it has many Metal and Punk songs e.g.To End the Rapture , Streets and Thick and Thin.Unknown to many fans the former Avenged Sevenfold intended this to be a metalcore album with mainly screaming but after the succes of their single streets they axed many tracks making it a more punk indie sound.Lead vocalist of Metal band Succesfully Avenged the old lead singer of A club 7 note he was actually annoyed and eventually disgusted by the way the album changed the bands style.2 Months After the albums release and success they were signed up to the warner brothers label unknown to them this was the beginning of the end of Avenged Sevenfold
