The Social Democratic Alliance (Span: Alianza Social Democrática, or ASD) is a political coalition in Chile formed on August 19, 2011 by the Party of Social Democracy and the Preservation Party to represent a center-left electoral bloc. The ASD will nominate a joint candidate for the 2014 election, marking the first time since 2002 that the PDS has fielded a candidate as part of a coalition.
