The Hon. Sir Edmund Reginald Harrison (18 February 1731 - 12 January 1792) was the first President-General of the United Provinces of America. While he was not a member of any political party, they were introduced during the later half of his second term.
Harrison was one of the British representatives sent to the Georgetown Convention, proving himself an able diplomat.
Harrison was appointed as President-General in June, 1780.
He was knighted for his services by king George III on 9th March, 1789.
