The Herrenvolk positioned itself over the Volkshalle, demanding the resignation of Adolf Hitler from the position of Führer, citing his cooperation with the Zheronians as a betrayal of National Socialist doctrine. In response, Hitler sent several ships of the Reich Space Force to drive out the ships loyal to Himmler and Haj Amin al-Husseini. After a month of heated combat over Berlin, a commando team led by Otto Skorzeny entered the Herrenvolk and assassinated Himmler. The remainder of the coup leaders backed down. The siege ended shortly thereafter.
