A crude coin with Seleucus' image

Seleucus Nicator (ca. 358 BC) is a Macedonian officer of Alexander the Great. He was left in charge of the siege of Smyrna in 327 BC, but his bad tactics are forcing him to slowly retreat. In 325 BC, he made peace with Smyrna and established the Seleucid Empire, making himself king.
