The Scottish general election of 2015 was held on May 7th 2015 to elect 199 members accross 49 constituencies to the Parliament of Scotland.
The centre-right coalition led by Karen King was re-elected for a second term in government. The election marked the first time since 1927 that the Labour Party was not the largest party in Parliament, and the Reform Party's best ever election result to date.
It was also the first time since 1961 that a non-Labour government had been re-elected.
