Scotland is a Calvinist kingdom in northern Europe. From 1100 to 1290, the kings of Scotland and the counts of Champagne competed for the kingdom of England. Scotland ultimately lost. The current monarch is Ann II of the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
