The Safavid Empire, also known as Persia, was a nation in the Middle East. The nation gained independence right after the Timurid Civil War that destroyed the Timurid Empire in 1455. It was a primarily Assafi'ist state under the rule of Shi'ite leaders.

History[]

1455 - 1475[]

With the weakness of the Timurids, and the attempted assassination of multiple Persian leaders, the Shi'ite Safavids invaded as many parts of the Timurids broke off, leaving Babur in control of much of the eastern portion from Kabul. They then proceed to take multiple cities. The Hazarpids to the north still pose a hostile threat.
