The Russian Confederacy was declared by Leon Trotsky in 1922 following the death of Vladimir Lenin. After defeating the Bolsheviks with the help of American and British forces, their founder Julius Martov proclaimed the Russian Confederacy as a socialist state ruled by democratic means.
