Robert Francis Kennedy (November 20, 1925 - September 22, 1975), commonly known as "Bobby" or by his initials RFK, was an American politician who served as the 36th President of the United States from 1969 until his assassination in 1975.
He previously served as United States Senator from Massachusetts (1965 - 1966) and Governor of Massachusetts (1967 - 1969).
