His #12 was retired in a halftime ceremony on September 21, 2013.
Quinn Kelly grew up in the Sahalee suburb of Sumner and attended Hoover Senior High School. In a series of events that would mirror his college career, he took over as quarterback for the Hoover Buffaloes halfway through his sophomore season due to an injury to the senior starter.
