His Royal Highness Prince Charles, Duke of Brockton, was born on May 29th, 1770 to John Adams and Abigail Adams. He served beside his brother John Quincy and Alexander Hamilton during the American war of Independnce as an diplomat, starting in 1782. After the war ended in 1785 Charles traveled to London for the famous Treaty of London, which formally ended the fighting. A year later his father was proclaimed King and he was made a Prince and Duke of Brockton, Charles was evidently a embarrassment for the Royal family as he was continually caught drunk and having affairs. Prince Charles married Sally Smith in 1795 in an attempt to smooth out his popularity, however his refusinion to do royal duties continued to destroy his dignity. Charles finally died on November 30th 1800 after being shot in Boston, his funeral took place on December 4th in Philideelphia and was buried in the Royal tombs of Philidelphia, he became the first member of the American Royal Family to be assassinated. He had two children with his wife Sally, Duchess of Brockton, including:
